Fireside Meadery is excited to announce that we are officially opening on Sunday, May 19th! Come join us at the Musquodoboit Harbour Farmers Market where you can meet us, sample our meads, and ask us any questions you may have. We're excited to get to know you!

Our opening has been much anticipated and we would like to express our gratitude to everyone who has supported us along the way, we truly could not have done this without the help of our friends and family. Cheers to new beginnings! #adventureawaits

Introducing Fireside Meadery's signature mead, our Sunset Cyser!

☀A Cyser is a type of traditional mead that is made from apples and honey, and we are so proud that all of the ingredients for our Sunset Cyser are sourced from local, Nova Scotian businesses.

☀Sunset Cyser features flavours of apple and blueberry, with warm notes of honey, cinnamon, and clove. It is a delicious all-seasons drink that can be enjoyed year round!

☀Simple, naturally brewed, and unfiltered, our meads are naturally gluten free and contain no added sulphites. 

Introducing Fireside Meadery's Ember Metheglin!

A Metheglin is a traditional type of mead made with honey and spices, and ours is proudly produced using 100% Nova Scotian honey.

Our Ember Metheglin is a floral, sweet mead with notes of orange and honeysuckle. As it continues to age, it develops a deeper, comforting spice with a warm, dessert finish.

Fireside Meadery is a proud supporter of local Nova Scotian businesses, and we source our products from Nova Scotia whenever available. Naturally gluten free, with no added sulphites, our Ember Metheglin is a delight for any occasion. 

We would like to express a huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out last Sunday to the @mhfarmersmarket to say hi to us and try some mead. We had a wonderful opening day and received such a warm welcome.

Fireside Meadery is proudly located in beautiful Musquodoboit Harbour, home of the @musquodoboitrailwaymuseum and Musquodoboit Trailway.

This trail was where the famously named "Blueberry Express" train used to run, from Windsor Junction, through Musquodoboit Harbour, and finally to the Musquodoboit Valley. It features a 15 km walking trail and 5 additional hiking trails for adventurous visitors. With the weather warming up, why not gather up your friends and go for a hike? Oh yeah, and don't forget a bottle of Fireside Meadery mead as you relax by the campfire that night!
